Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and MotorcycleValuation.com (“we”, “us”). By using motorcyclevaluation.com you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. What we do

We provide free, automated estimates of what a used motorcycle is worth in the United States, information about motorcycle models drawn from public data, and — once you consent us to — introductions to independent motorcycle dealers who may wish to buy your motorcycle. We are a technology and information service. We are not a dealer, broker or agent. We do not buy, sell, appraise for a fee, or take possession of motorcycles, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a dealer.

2. Valuations are estimates

Every value we show is an estimate produced by software from market data, published information and the details you provide. It is based on market data and AI analysis. It is not an offer to purchase, not an appraisal, not a guarantee of what any buyer will pay, and not advice. Values change daily and vary with condition and location in ways no automated system can fully capture. You are responsible for any decision you make in reliance on a value we show. Where we describe third-party book values (for example Kelley Blue Book® or J.D. Power®), we do so descriptively; we are not affiliated with those companies and their marks belong to them.

3. Dealer introductions

If you check the consent box and ask for offers, we share your contact details and your motorcycle's details with up to three participating dealers who buy in your area, and those dealers pay us for the introduction. Dealers are independent businesses. We do not control their offers, conduct or communications, and we make no promise that any dealer will contact you or make an offer. Any sale is between you and the dealer on terms you agree with them. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you own the motorcycle or are authorized to act for the owner.
  • You will not use the site to harvest data, test dealers with fake leads, run automated queries, or interfere with the service.
  • You will not misrepresent a motorcycle to a dealer introduced through us.

5. Dealer accounts

Dealer portal access is governed by these terms and by the Dealer Agreement accepted at signup. Dealers must honour opt-out requests immediately, must use contact details only to discuss purchasing the specific motorcycle, and must not resell or share leads. We may suspend accounts that breach these obligations.

6. Content and data

Model pages combine public data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) with anonymized statistics computed from valuations on this site. NHTSA data is public domain; our compilations, text and software are ours. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes and may link to any page. You may not scrape, republish or build a competing dataset from it.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SITE AND ALL VALUES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON A VALUE OR FROM ANY DEALING WITH A DEALER, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). Some states do not allow these limitations; in those states they apply to the extent permitted.

8. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction. You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be flagged on the site. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
