Why we exist
Book values are updated a few times a year from dealer-reported data and treat a Street Glide in Phoenix the same as one in Minneapolis in November. Dealers, meanwhile, know exactly what your bike is worth and what they can sell it for — and you don't. We wanted the number on the rider's side to be as good as the number on the dealer's side, and we wanted it in thirty seconds.
How the value works
Every valuation starts with the exact bike — decoded from the VIN through NHTSA's database or picked from our catalogue of the models that account for most US used-bike sales. Our engine, built on Claude with live web search, then looks at what that model-year is listed and selling for across the country right now, adjusts for your mileage, condition, title and region, and returns a value range. Every result is checked against a depreciation model built on original MSRP before you see it, and we say how confident we are. We store only aggregates from the market — never other people's listings.
What we don't do
We don't buy bikes. We don't make offers. We don't take a commission on a sale. We introduce you to up to three licensed dealers, they pay us for the introduction, and everything after that is between you and them. That is what keeps the value honest: we have no stake in it being high or low.
